This raspberry twist of the classic Daiquiri is an easy way to give the drink a fruitier flavor and a fresh pink color. The daiquiri is said to be the invention of engineer Mr. Jenning Cox when he ran out of gin at a party and had to switch to rum during the Spanish-American War.&nbsp;Bartender Tip:Change the type of sugar for brown sugar for a sweeter point, and also try with lemon juice instead of lime which will give a lower point of acidity on this mix.

Fill both your martini glass and cocktail shaker with cubed ice

Add ingredients

Close the shaker and shake hard and fast for 7 seconds

Empty the ice in your martini glass back into the ice bucket. Take the small top off the shaker and fine strain out the mix into your chilled glass.
