The recipe for the old fashioned dates to the early 1800s, though not by that name. The term old-fashioned cocktails dates to 1880, and recipes by that name appear in cocktail books of the late 1880s and 1890s. This modern twist with peach is great with Buffalo Trace Bourbon.

Bartender Tip:

This cocktail can also be served with regular ice, thou the big icesphere looks fantastic and gives it slow dilution. Other great flavours that the peach syrup can be replaced with is Blueberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Strawberry, Cocnut, Mango and Passionfruit. Honey or Maple syrup are also great sweetener for this cocktail.
