Meet Adrian
My name is Adrian Michalcik and I work as Director of Mixology of Pier 42 bar at Amerikalinjen hotel Oslo, flavour developer for Generous Cocktails and as a consultant for Adrian Michalcik Mixology company.
Hosting people and working with flavours has been my passion for the last 15 years. I'm from Czechoslovakia and in the past I lived in Prague, where I got the title of Czech World Class bartender of the year 2016. Last 5 years I have lived in Norway where I have been awarded as Best Bartender of Norway 2021, 2022, 2023, Industry personality of the year 2023 and bar Pier42 also won The best bar of Norway twice besides listing in 50 Best Discovery & regional top 10 honoree at Tales of the Cocktail.
After winning Diageo World Class of Norway in 2022 came the highlight of my career when I was named Global World Class Bartender of the year 2022 during global finals in Sydney.
