Danica Markovic is a global mixologist, brand ambassador and hospitality educator, and a leading voice in international spirits activation and cocktail culture. As a Cocktail Club Industry Expert, she brings extensive experience in brand building, global market development and bartender education to the Cocktail Club platform.
Originally from Belgrade, one of Europe’s most vibrant bar scenes, Danica developed an early passion for mixology and the art of hospitality. Her career quickly evolved into the international arena, where she combined creative cocktail development with strategic brand growth.
Since 2018, Danica has been the face and voice behind Peddlers Gin, the first craft gin from Shanghai. Based in Asia for several years, she played a key role in building the brand across China and the wider region, delivering masterclasses, guest shifts, cocktail workshops and immersive brand activations across markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Mongolia.
Following her return to Europe, Danica now leads the development of Peddlers Gin across Europe and the UK, while also supporting activities in North America and Oceania. Her work spans collaborations with leading bars, hotels, distributors and beverage brands, focusing on driving both on-trade and off-trade engagement through education, events and creative campaigns.
