Raiza Carrera – Cocktail Club Industry Expert

Raiza Carrera is a hospitality educator, bar leader and internationally awarded bartender with roots in Peru and a strong career in Spain and South America. As a Cocktail Club Industry Expert, she brings a decade of frontline experience from some of the region’s best venues, combined with a deep passion for training and empowerment in the bar industry.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Raiza has spent more than 10 years in the hospitality and cocktail sector, working her way up to Bar Manager at several high-profile venues across Spain and South America. Her background combines operational leadership with a strong educational approach, making her a natural mentor for young bartenders and service teams.

In 2014, Raiza reached international recognition as a Finalist at the DIAGEO World Class Lima, Peru, showcasing her skills and creativity on a global competition stage. In 2023, she was honoured as Best Bartender in Spain, highlighting her position as one of the leading professionals in the Spanish cocktail scene.

Raiza is also the Founder of Agite Club, a project focused on experiences, education and creative cocktail culture. Through Agite Club and her work as an educator, she has contributed to raising standards behind the bar and promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry.
