The Negroni Sbagliato Cocktail
Sbagliato means 'the wrong' Negroni. In 1972, Mirko Stocchetto at Bar Basso in Milano added sparkling wine instead of Gin to Negroni. It was then that he realized that this variation made sense and this humble mistake led him to create one of the classic cocktails that is still enjoyed today around the world.
Bartender Tip:
The choice of vermouth changes the profile of the cocktail a lot, just like the choice of prosecco, it can be varied by sparkling wine or champagne, it all depends on your personal taste. A small detail, so that the foam of our sparkling wine does not come out of the glass, we recommend pouring it over the ice carefully and stir gently so as not to lose the bubbles.
