All staff must know exit routes, emergency actions, and responsibilities during an evacuation.
Staff routines:
- Identify nearest exits at the start of every shift.
- Ensure all exits and walkways remain clear.
- In case of fire, alert guests calmly and direct them to the nearest exit.
- Do not allow guests to return for belongings.
- Check restrooms and back areas if safe to do so.
- Gather at the agreed meeting point outside.
- Manager performs headcount and informs emergency services.
