The Apple Punch Cocktail

It is based on the most traditional Norwegian drink for Christmas, Akevitt. Norwegian has a strong tradition of drinking their aquavits. Aquavit is a protected name, on par with the French Cognac. It must be made of potato spirits distilled in Norway. Mixed with flavors of Christmas, such as anis, cloves, cinnamon, and together with the famous Norwegian apple juice, the cocktail perfectly captures the taste and spirit of Norway in a glass. Enjoy!

Bartender Tip:

This recipe will serve 8-10 depending on the size of your cup. You can easily double up the recipe if you have many guests.

Fun fact:

Aquavit, Akevitt, akvavit are different ways of writing aquae vitae, meaning the water of life.
