The Brooklyn Cocktail Cocktail
The Brooklyn Cocktail was inspired by its two cousins the Manhattan and the Bronx, two cocktails already established and named after neighboring NYC Boroughs. It was first printed in Jacob A. Grohusko’s Jack’s Manual published in 1908.
Made approachable by faint sweet maraschino notes and bittersweet Amer picon herbal complexity.
Bartender Tip:
To refresh our cocktail it is better to split ice at the moment, into large pieces inside the mixing glass.
This classic recipe shows strong notes of orange, the combination of rye with dry vermouth makes this classic cocktail taste like those times.
We invite you to play with the proportions of vermouth and Amer picon to achieve different textures.
