The Gin Rickey Cocktail
This classic summertime cooler combines spirit, lime, and sugar in a highball glass. It is named after Joe Rickey, a Democratic lobbyist living in Washington, D.C., during the late 19th century and favoring zero-sugar drinks. Originally created with bourbon in Washington D.C at Shoomaker's bar.
Bartender Tip:
Add ice, stir and then add sparkling mineral water.
